Planning your New/Dream Home, can be very exciting, and yet overwhelming, all at the same time. Melabu Design can help make the design process go smoothly. Each house is unique, we specialize in “Custom” homes. As each family is different, we believe your home should reflect that.

Expanding/adjusting your current house can sometimes be a challenge. We take pride in our ability to incorporate aspects and characteristics to blend the new with the old. ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Melanie, the owner of Melabu Design & Drafting. Residential Design is my passion, I love architecture. I’ve been working in the construction industry for over 15 years. I graduated from The Construction Engineering Technology/Architecture, at Conestoga College. From there, I spent a few years in the Roof Truss industry, designing roof and floor truss systems. Before venturing off on my own in the Residential Design/drafting industry.
BCIN, what is it?
BCIN stands for Building Code Identification Number. It is an identification Number that each Designer is required to have, within the Province of Ontario. Meaning that the designer has completed the required Ontario Building Code exams, and is recognized as a qualified designer.
